Getting here
- Tube: Regent's Park (Bakerloo line) is a five-minute walk, about 360 metres. Baker Street (Bakerloo, Circle, Hammersmith and City, Jubilee, Metropolitan) is eight minutes and Great Portland Street (Circle, Hammersmith and City, Metropolitan) nine.
- Bus: routes 18, 27, 88, 205 and 453, and night routes N18, N27, N118 and N205, stop within a few minutes' walk.
- Car: the clinic is inside the Congestion Charge zone (£18 a day, 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday, noon to 6pm at weekends) and inside the Ultra Low Emission Zone. Street parking in Westminster is paid through the RingGo, PayByPhone or JustPark apps.
What happens at the consultation
Dr Marie Duggan, GMC 7488383, examines the bulge, checks your BMI and your history, including pregnancy, skin conditions, medicines and previous surgery in the area, and agrees the areas and the number of treatments. She explains what the trial figure is for your area, that the US clearance sets a BMI of 30 or less for the body and 49 or less for the chin, and that SculpSure is not weight loss. In our practice, photographs are taken with your consent, and you leave with the price in writing. We provide CoolSculpting too, and where it would suit your bulge better, she says so. The clinic
The clinic is CQC registered, and every SculpSure treatment is led by a doctor registered with the General Medical Council on a SculpSure system. Every area the device is used on is treated here. The abdomen, the flanks, the back, the thighs and under the chin are cleared in the US with a trial each, and the knees have one independent study. The upper arms, bra fat and buttocks have no published study, which we say plainly, and we treat them in our practice.
